- How it is organized
- International Business Machines Corporation, incorporated in New York, has its principal executive office in Armonk, New York. It develops the Granite models, publishes them under its ibm-granite organizations, and serves them through watsonx.ai; watsonx Orchestrate is its agent platform. BeeAI Framework began at IBM but was contributed to the Linux Foundation, so it is not listed here. One name, IBM, covers the models, the service, and the platform. IBM Research states where it works rather than only where the company is registered: its own labs page says "11 labs spread across 18 sites around the world" and groups them by region, among them Israel, the United Kingdom, and Zurich, alongside Africa, India, Ireland, Japan, Albany, Silicon Valley, and Yorktown Heights. The record keeps the three non-US sites that host research labs, Israel, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, and the rest stay named here rather than in a list capped at three.
