This record represents the qwen3.8-max line, now serving the September 2, 2026 snapshot (qwen3.8-max-0902, alias qwen3.8-max-2026-09-02) by default since the September 5 upgrade, together with its open-weights checkpoint Qwen/Qwen3.8-2.4T-A95B and the official FP8 sibling. The downloaded checkpoint is the August weights release and is narrower than the API namesake (text-only, thinking-required, 262K native context versus the API's vision input and 1M default context). The qwen3.8-max-preview API preview, the Apache-2.0 Qwen3.8-27B sibling, earlier Qwen generations, QwenCloud product packaging, and community quantizations remain separate boundaries.
