- This record represents the Qwen/Qwen3-8B weight release of the April 2025 Qwen3 series, a hybrid model that switches between thinking and non-thinking modes, at Hugging Face commit b968826d9c46dd6066d109eabc6255188de91218 (last modified 2025-07-26), together with the hosted qwen3-8b API model. The Base checkpoint, the other Qwen3 sizes, later Qwen generations, and community quantizations remain separate boundaries.
