- This record represents the preview release identified by the model code gemini-3.1-pro-preview (latest update February 2026; inputs text, image, video, audio, PDF; output text), together with its customtools endpoint variant for custom-tool-heavy agentic workflows. No shutdown date is announced and no stable successor ID exists. The retired gemini-3-pro-preview predecessor, the stable Flash line, image and audio-only releases, the Gemini consumer app, and the Vertex AI and AI Studio platforms themselves are separate model, service, or application boundaries.
