Covers the DeepCode coding agent as it stands in this repository, whose README now leads with an engineering agent and keeps Paper2Code, its original paper-to-code direction, as a dedicated workflow. Older descriptions and the arXiv paper describe the earlier multi-agent Paper2Code architecture. The bundled pinned skills carry their own Apache-2.0 licence files while the application is MIT. README re-read 2026-10-10: the MIT licence blob is unchanged and no scope statement moved.
